My name is Marissa Rondinone. I was born in the year 1990 and have been fiddling on the computer since the age of nine. I currently reside in Clark, New Jersey, where I spend my time creating graphic designs, photography, and illustration. I often share this work on social media like Instagram and Society6, where I have been featured by Parade Magazine for posting an, “artfully-conceived, Oscar-winning movie poster.”

My areas of expertise consist of advanced skills in photography, drawing, painting, and the Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. My goal is to create artwork that allows me to share my ideas and experiences with other people. I want others to feel what I felt when I created each piece, depicting these experiences through my own unique style. As a graphic designer, it is my job to be able to communicate through my designs so others can receive a certain message and learn from them, in the hopes they can relate too. Through this, I strive to achieve a strong following of viewers, and possible clientele, who like and appreciate my work.

Timeline

I graduated from New York Institute of Technology in May 2012, achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in Graphic Design. While at NYIT, I received the Certificate for Art Faculty Award, which stated that I have shown distinction and promise in the field of Fine Arts. I also maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.93, which granted me Summa Cum Laude of my graduating class and membership to two honor societies.

During my last semester at NYIT, I interned at NY1 News, Time Warner Cable's 24-hour news-channel in New York City. I worked at NY1 with other designers and animators, taking requests for on-air graphics and producing them, as well as creating holiday ID animations.

A year later, I seized the opportunity to work at Vanguarde Consulting Group, the leading Entrepreneurial Content provider for Small Business Innovation in New York City.

While at Vanguarde, I worked alongside a team of entrepreneurs in design, fashion, arts, music, dance, education, and business. While at Vanguarde, I designed for different media in print and web such as mobile app design, book design, web design and logo design, just to name a few.

Fast forward to 2017 and I am applying my graphic design skills at Stylus Custom Apparel, where I assist clients with design conversion for practical wear.

By offering the correct services we offer to print, embroider, and embellish designs onto shirts, sweaters, pants, tote bags, and so much more, I deliver quick turnarounds to satisfy each school, business, clothing line, or specific event.
